Panna Cotta.

I used to rank tiramisu as my favourite Italian dessert, until I was introduced to panna cotta. Panna cotta is an Italian dessert that is like creme brulee, but without the egg.

If you’re having a dinner party or attending one where you get to bring the dessert, try this recipe. It’s super easy to make.

I served it for a dinner party at home tonight and it had raving reviews. Even my cheen-na friend who never eats western desserts took one bite and then polished off the whole thing.

I served the panna cotta cups with a topping of home-made blueberry sauce and almond flakes. But you can add anything you like – chocolate sauce, strawberries, a little jam whisked till soft.. it’s up to you.

I always make a few extra cups, for those nights where I need some comfort food for myself! Hee!
