Couscous. It’s not pronounced as “cause-cause”. It’s read as “cooooss-coooooss”.

I adore this stuff. It’s light, fluffy and delicious.

If you don’t have time to cook rice, make some couscous. It’s so freaking easy and just takes a couple of minutes. Couscous is like pasta, it’s made from semolina wheat. So it’s nutritious as well.


We had served it with fish meuniere earlier and it was delicious.

I like to serve it with anything that has gravy with it. Beef stew. Lamb. Fish. A vegetable gratin. Or even as a salad on its own. It’s really versatile once you get the hang of it.
