Internet Game – 8th Shot in the 8th Folder.

Ok, I’ve been tagged to play this game.

I hesitated for a while because I’m not a big fan of tagging games. I guess I’m just shy to tag other people.

So I’m going to play this, but not tag others. If you are keen to play, come jump onboard, and leave a comment here with a link to your blog so I can see!

Flyingbeagle from Vanilla Seven tagged me to do this -

1. Go to your photo files, select the 8th photo folder
2. Select the 8th photo in that folder
3. Post that photo along with the story behind it
4. Then challenge 8 blogging friends to do the same!

And here’s the 8th photo in the 8th folder for 2010.

This shot was taken with my then brand new Canon 50mm f1.4 in January 2010. It was a Christmas gift from the hubby and was my first prime lens. I had been blown away by its capabilities.

The shot was taken practically in the dark. I shot this at very high ISO and wide open at f1.4. So the result is grainy and with very shallow depth of field. Which is what this lens is all about.

Although my latest love is a 30mm f1.4, this lens still gives me amazing sharpness and I love using it for my cooking tutorials.

  1. Yumm! Your picture looks deliciously good! Thank you for your time to participate in the game Bing :)

I have full confidence that most of your picture are beautiful even if they’re picked randomly.

Always a bliss to use wide aperture lens :)
