World Vision Singapore – 30 Hour Famine
Did you know that the World Vision Singapore organised a 30 Hour Famine Movement last weekend?

If you were at Orchard Road, you would have caught more than 1,000 youths building cardboard tents, street dancing and doing flash mobs. While fasting.
These are seriously my heroes.
I commend our young people for their determination and enthusiasm.
Do you know how tough it is to go 30 hours with no food, AND do so many activities?
I thought I would do a 30 hour famine too for this post, but by the 24th hour, my insides were already cramping from the gastric pangs. I’m such a wimp! Argh! I think about all the hungry children out there who have to go without food for days/weeks and my heart aches.
Read more about the 30 Hour Famine Movement here.
At the end of the day, it’s all for a good cause and for awareness. For us to remember the many people out there who are less fortunate than us and need our help.
So, put that burger aside now. And look at this -
Click on the banner to see the sets of gifts that you can donate. To hungry kids. To unfortunate women and girls. To provide clean water. To help with the disaster victims… you can pick where, who and how your contribution will go to.
Please contribute where you can.
