The Auckland Sky Tower.
This is one of my favourite buildings in Auckland city, and I tell every visitor to check it out.
I’m happy as soon as we walk in. I love the ride up and I definitely love it up there!
The view is breathtaking! On a good clear day, you can see far and wide, and take in the Auckland Harbour and the Auckland Marina with tons of sail boats out at sea.
It’s definitely the place to go to for a nice meal or just to have a cup of coffee at the cafe and take in sunset.
And this is the part I like the most.. challenging friends to stand on the glass floors of the viewing deck. Guaranteed to make your knees go weak!
I will really miss this tower.
P/S. The last two photos were shot with a very old Canon Ixus, when I didn’t have my DSLR with me. :-\
