I love a good weekend farmers market. There’s something about seeing and touching the freshest of produce that makes me very happy. Almost like a high. Hahaha..

The Jan Powers Farmers Market in Brisbane was one of the first places I went to as soon as I arrived in Australia. It was a great market. I was tired after a long flight but managed to snap a few shots of my experience. If I lived in Brisbane, I would come here every week.

There was a wide range of craftwork on sale.

But the hungry visitor was more interested in the food at the market.

Freshly baked pizza.

The girls who were so diligent at rolling out the pizza dough.

Super long bratwursts on rolls.

And yummilicious desserts.

We need a market like that in Singapore and one that doesn’t sell iPhone covers or women lingerie. =p
