Graffiti In The Inner City – iPhone Shots

I have a set of exciting pictures to put here because I’ve spent a couple of days in the inner city this week. But first..

Thanks to all the readers who’ve written to me with concern. I know I haven’t been blogging as regularly as I used to. That’s actually a good thing. Because it means I’m living a life and have no time or am too tired to process photos and write.

Contrary to what many people think, my blog is NOT my life. It’s a small piece of my day to day and just the bits that I’ve chosen to document. Alot of what I write here is backdated because I didn’t have time to write about it earlier. And most importantly, the best bits of my life are the moments spent with my loved ones and friends and I’ve chosen to keep alot of them private.

So if I haven’t been diligent in writing, it’s not because I’m sick or something has happened to me. It’s because I’m living a good life. =)

And this week has been absolutely fabulous. I visited several parts of the inner city of Johannesburg and it’s the first time I’ve ever gone to these parts of the city without the hubby. I needed to take a deep breath (of courage) to do it and I’m so glad I did. Because I have some of the best pictures of the city in my collection now.

I’m still deep in the process of editing those pictures but here is a selection of the iPhone shots that I took. They are all shots of the graffiti walls I saw. I will share more on this later..

Have a great weekend, everyone!

  1. Graffiti is one of the most interesting modern arts and I recognize that I am not entirely able to uderstand it but… I admire those pieces and I would love to see even more

  2. Of all the shots you and I took that day, I love your iPhone shots the most!
