I love sharpening my knives. It’s a ~~small~~ obsession I have as a housewife.

I like to stand by the windows and sharpen my knives till they take a bit of my skin off when I flick my thumb over it.

I had posted about this obsession before when we were in NZ. It’s fun to see people’s faces when they peer through my windows and see me polishing those blades with an intense look on my face.

There’s a new mall near where we live and I’ve fallen in love with it. Great restaurants and a giant food market. That’s my kind of place for an urban lifestyle.

I love watching the suricate (another name for the meerkat). Especially when they stretch themselves so tall, standing on their hind legs.

In South Africa, it’s not unusual to find a biltong corner in every mall. Loads of dried meat are hung and displayed for sale. Some look hard enough to break my teeth.

The coffee baristas at the coffee shop near our home likes to put a message in every cup of coffee. Some days, it would be Have a lovely day! or It’s so hot today! or like this one, Strong. Enjoy.

I like waiting for my cup of coffee, and peering to see what he’s written for the day. =)
