This is what happens when I try the pannacotta mix from Woolies and tell the hubby that it’s the best pannacotta I’ve ever made. He goes right out and stocks up.

Looks like we’ll be eating pannacotta for dessert for the rest of the year. Heh heh.

I’ve finally found a place for target practice in Johannesburg. And shot with the Colt Gold Cup National Match 1911 .45 Caliber for the first time.

It’s surreal to have the chance to learn to shoot pistols, especially for a Singaporean girl.

Project 365 : Fall In Johannesburg

This is one of my favourite time of the year in Johannesburg. The trees are starting to turn orange, red and yellow, as fall approaches.

In no time, the trees will be bare and it will be dreadfully cold here. But I’ve loving it right now. =)

Project 365 : Joburg Metrorail

I always catch glimpses of the Metrorail trains in Downtown Johannesburg when we drive past the rail lines and have always been curious about the train system in Joburg. It’s mighty extensive, see route map here.

Today I had the privilege of looking at the trains and train tracks while on a walk on the Nelson Mandela bridge. I wonder if it’s safe to go on the Metrorail.

I had the most amazing day ever in the inner city of Johannesburg today.

It’s old. It’s dodgey. It even makes me a tad nervous occasionally. But it’s one of the most fabulous places in this city. Don’t say you’ve been to Joburg until you’ve seen this art.
