Meeting Martin Yan

I’m in Jakarta, Indonesia for work. And got to meet the famous chef, Martin Yan at an event. I had the privilege of a small good chat with the man in Cantonese in Bahasa land. I grew up watching his cooking shows with his mantra “If Yan can cook, so can you!” It was a star struck moment for me. #iphonephotos #bloggingontheiphone...

Family Time in Hong Kong

I took my parents on a daughter-parents bonding holiday to Hong Kong. And we had the best time ever. We did heaps, ate till we felt like we would burst and chatted till late every day. I am grateful for the time we spent together. #love View of Hong Kong Island from Avenue of the Stars 餐蛋面 Luncheon meat and egg soup noodles at 大浪湾村 Big Waves Village Congee from 海皇粥店 at Yaumatei. Long queue. Curt service. And tables so uncomfortably close to each other. But the dim sum was fantastic and great value for money. All this Michelin star quality for SGD30. Big thumbs up! #familytrip #holiday #iphonephotos #bloggingontheiphone...
