Project 365

I started doing Project 365 in 2011 because (1) I had decided that my memory was starting to fail me as I age and I needed to lock down my memories, and (2) I needed the discipline to practise shooting every day.

Yeap. Project 365 was about taking a shot every single day. It was enjoyable as I opened my eyes and looked for interesting things to shoot. But it was also very challenging because there were days where I just did not feel like lugging my camera around.

Towards the end of 2011, I found myself shooting most of my Project 365 shots with my iPhone instead of my DSLR. Sometimes I was just too lazy to lug a big camera everywhere I went and my iPhone was convenient. It didn’t hurt that I also had fun with the iPhone apps and didn’t have to do much post processing with the shots later.

So for 2012, I decided that I would do Project 365 with my iPhone only. It’ll be a collection of all the fun and quirky stuff I see every day.
