Project 365 : Final Shot Of The Year

This is the last shot for Project 365 for 2011.

We celebrate the last day of the new year with a self portrait of me and the hubby in South Africa. =)

It’s been a challenging, doing Project 365. I’ve been thinking if I want to continue doing it for 2012. In the end, I’ve decided that I will continue with Project 365 in 2012 with my iPhone.

Project 365 in 2012 will no longer be to practise photography. It’ll be a collection of the random things I see or do every day, simply shot with my phone.

Happy New Year, Everyone!

Project 365 : Vintage Toy Cars

Spotted. Tiny vintage miniature cars.

Project 365 : The African Blue Lily

It’s summer in South Africa and an African blue lily looks ready to bloom.
So pretty!

Project 365 : Fragrant Sticks.

One of my favourite things at home.
Long fragrance sticks smelling of white musk.

Project 365 : Tomo & Reese.

I have a fresh stash of my favourite Reese peanut buttercup M&Ms-style candies (candies that look like M&Ms but are filled with peanut butter), and my favourite M&Ms with almond nuts.

Woohoo! I love going to the USA.

Project 365 : Cactus.

This Christmas was probably the worst one for us. Our boy was terribly sick and we spent every minute by his side.

I shot this cactus at home while watching our boy sleep.

Project 365 : My Nephew.

This Christmas, I met my newly arrived nephew. He’s a darling!

Project 365 : Christmas Eve

On Christmas Eve, I sat in the dark by our boy while he laid on a bed in an observation room, shivering and battling with an awful flu bug.

The best gift we can have for Christmas is our kids’ good health and happiness. Sigh.

Project 365 : A Xmas Gift

A very thoughtful gift from our gal that has travelled miles to reach me.

A replica mug of my favourite 24-105mm lens for my Milo (of course). I love it! ♥♥♥

Project 365 : Creepy Plants

This week has been spent in the home of my departed friend, to give support and comfort to his loved ones.

There’s a tree right by his deck. I used to find them creepy looking. Now I’ve gotten used to them and think they make rather interesting art for photographs. =)
